Chiropractic Physician, Functional Medicine Specialist
Dr. Edward Beyer was born on the south side of Chicago and raised in a family of six children in the southern suburbs of Chicago.
In 1987 he graduated cum laude and fourth in his class from the National College of Chiropractic In Lombard Illinois. The next year, 1988, Dr. Beyer opened his Clinic in Tinley Park. He has served over 11,000 patients in the Chicagoland area since 1988.
Dr. Beyer resolved to dedicate his practice to the management and support of chronic conditions– such as autoimmune disease, Fibromyalgia, and thyroid dysfunction that were not being successfully treated with the traditional therapies. To do this Dr. Beyer has logged hundreds of hours in post-graduate study of functional blood chemistry analysis and metabolic testing, functional neurology and nutrition. Dr. Beyer is a board eligible chiropractic neurologist.

Dr. Beyer continues to serve as an example to his patients by following a strict workout schedule that includes weightlifting & cardiovascular work, taking supplements faithfully, keeping a gluten free diet and routine chiropractic care.
Dr. Beyer believes that knowledge is power. With this attitude he sets out to educate his patients and people in the community that there is an alternative approach to treating chronic conditions.
Alexa Weiler, CCN, LDN
Board Certified Clinical Nutritionist, Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist
Alexa holds extensive experience as a clinical nutritionist in the Tinley Park area. Alexa graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition. As an undergraduate student, Alexa was a Bronze Tablet Honoree, receiving the highest award granted to undergraduate students for ranking in the top 3% of her 2013 graduating class. Alexa completed 56 hours of post-graduate studies in Clinical Nutrition and is Board Certified as a Clinical Nutritionist by the Clinical Nutrition Certification Board. Alexa is licensed as a Dietitian Nutritionist in the state of Illinois. Her specialties include functional blood chemistry, functional endocrinology, thyroid dysfunction, functional brain chemistry, weight loss, nutrigenomics, and nutritional management of chronic conditions.
Alexa has a deep passion for using natural methods to restore the body’s innate healing ability. Having overcome chronic autoimmunity, she strives to educate her patients on the importance of nutritional therapy and how it relates to overall well-being. Alexa enjoys educating her patients on how to properly nourish the body through correct dietary and lifestyle choices.
